I hate rules for the sake of rules in fashion. Saying you shouldn't put black with navy is the worst one, in my opinion. I mean, why not? Who invented that? I absolutely love black with navy. The navy somehow softens the harshness of the black, while the black makes the navy just that little more classic.

This Whistles leather jacket is one of my absolute favourite pieces. It's just so deliciously chunky yet butter soft, in the most perfect shade of navy. Pairing it with everything else black makes for the ideal transitional outfit for these tricky spring days (though to be fair I think I might need to cover up those super pale legs for a little longer...)
