So far this winter we've got off pretty lightly here in the UK. Christmas Day was positively balmy (hope you had a great one by the way). But in the last couple of days we've been reminded that it is actually December and this does normally mean biting winds, frosty mornings and scraping ice off your car before you can get anywhere (god, I hate that). And when the weather turns cold, I unfailingly call on my trusty navy faux fur.
This beaut of a coat was one of those "see it and immediately have to have it" purchases back in 2014. So much so that I wore it to London Fashion Week on a pretty warm September day, and looked kind of ridiculous and felt insanely boiling, but did not even care one bit. It is one of those pieces that you put on and immediately feel like you're looking your best. It's the first thing I packed when I headed to New York in the snow in February and it kept me toasty while wandering around a Swiss Christmas market a couple of weeks ago. It's safe to say that even if we do face a freezing winter from here on out, I've got the coat to see me through.
