today i love… the monday wish list

Whistles Assisi knit Laura Mercier primer Radiance Ren Glycolactic mask

It's that time of year when the dregs of the sales start to look shabby and out-of-date compared to the bright shiny new in section, and Whistles' newest drop is as covetable as ever. Top of my lust list is this deliciously fluffy jumper: perfectly S/S'14 worthy in crisp monochrome but still, crucially, toasty warm. A trans-seasonal wonder.

I can never resist a slightly different shade of nude nail varnish from the other six or so I already have. For some reason this almost mushroomy, milky tea shade is exactly what my at-home manicures are crying out for right now.

I'm a sucker for any beauty product with the word "radiance" in it; if it promises to pep up my dull winter skin, I'm sold. I love my NARS light optimising primer but when it runs out I think I may try this in its place.

What could be better on a truly bitter winter's day than to cocoon your neck in folds of baby soft cashmere?

5. Zara lace miniskirt / £35.99
I pretty much live in knitwear at the moment, and after a while you run out of jeans to pair it with. Step forward the perfect contrast to a huge, fluffy oversized knit: a delicate lace-trim skirt. Team with fierce ankle boots and a bobble hat to really get paradoxical dressing down pat.

I've heard very good things about this mask, which promises to give dull, flagging complexions a new lease of life. I keep eyeing it up every time I'm in Marks & Spencer's beauty hall, so it's surely only a matter of time before I give in and add it to my stock of weekend self-spa pampering treats.
