Zara jacquard mini skirt / £39.99
I've been wanting to introduce more skirts into my wardrobe for some time now, but I've never quite found the right one; for some reason I find them much harder to wear than shorts and they just don't look quite right on me. I bought a navy Topshop beauty a couple of months ago but ending up returning it as I just couldn't imagine wearing it much. I tried on the black Zara pleated one that most bloggers seem to own, but it was too short on me. So when I saw this skirt yesterday on Andyheart, my hopes were once again raised that it might just be "the one". With its Proenza-esque wrap detail, jacquard finish and asymmetric cut, it was love at first click. I really hope it lives up to my expectations in real life.

Yes, it's a cool skirt! You should keep it. BTW.. how are the grey t-shirts from TopShop? I saw it you bought one along with the skirt you ended up returning. Thank you!

Hi, that grey tee is the washed v tee by Topshop Boutique. It's perfect - I love it. Nice oversized fit (size down if you're in between 2 sizes) and washes well. They don't have the grey anymore but they have it in khaki here: http://rstyle.me/~f5q6 - or orange here: http://rstyle.me/~f5qu . Enjoy! X
DeleteoOoOH that's so cute!! Happy wearing! :)

I'm exactly the same with skirts, I have like 2 and never wear them. I really like the shape of this Zara one though, it's exactly what I want, although not so keen on the jacquard print(see how picky I am). I think i'll have to locate one in store to see if it's better in real life.
ReplyDeletewow i love that skirt.
ReplyDeletegood luck for the future.
