That's right fashion fans... NYFW is almost upon us! It all kicks off in the Big Apple tomorrow (10th) and goes on until 17th. The editors have landed, the celebrities have picked out their FROW outfits and everyone in fashion land is eager to see what A/W'11 will have in store for us. So here's everything you need to know about this most stylish of weeks across the pond...
1. You can stream quite a few of the shows live, thanks to firstcomesfashion.com. (I'm not sure whether you still need to register, but it's quick, easy and free to do so). You can even set up your own "show schedule" and have reminders emailed to you (just don't forget that New York is five hours behind the UK). So now you don't need to be a fancy editor to have a front row seat to all the action. Exciting.
2. For the best show coverage, I recommend Elleuk.com and Vogue.co.uk. Both are regularly updated throughout the four fashion weeks, providing pictures of every catwalk look, show reports and front row snaps, and are always my first port of call. Asos.com and Topshop's blog Inside-Out are also worth checking out throughout the week.
3. Check back to my blog for regular updates on the best front row looks, my own take on the shows and the lowdown on all the emerging trends. And if you'd like to brush up on last season's best collections before this season starts, why not check out my S/S'11 show reports? Click here to see which of the New York shows I was loving back in September.
4. And finally, below is a list of which shows I'm most excited to see this NYFW. You can see the full schedule, along with all the shows that firstcomesfashion are streaming, here. The times I've shown below are UK times.
