today i love… the monday wish list

I've been lusting after this beautiful sheepskin gilet for ages now. In fact I was really hoping it would go into the sale after Christmas, but no such luck. It would be the perfect layering piece in this chilly weather.

Still can't get enough of H&M's interior offerings. You can never have too many trays to store trinkets in, right?

In case you're dropping hints for Valentine's Day, look no further than Diptyque's latest limited edition offering. Roses, violets and kisses all in a Diptyque package - what more could a girl want?

I still love scuba and it's perfect for winter because it's warm but still sleek, making it an ideal alternative to knitwear for the office. This would look great with a pencil skirt.

Cut-out ankle boots are a great transitional footwear option. I love the soft grey of these.

For some reason I'm all about a fur hood right now. Maybe it's because I'm off to New York this weekend and just thinking about the weather makes me crave soft cosy layers. Khaki is definitely on my radar as well at the moment so this jacket has my name all over it.

today i'm wearing...

& Other Stories black t-shirt

Zara zip ankle boots

Topshop white Jamie jeans

& Other Stories grey mohair cardigan

3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli medium burgundy

Nothing like an oversized, fluffy mohair knit to make you feel cosy on a freezing winter's day. I like to toughen it up with no-nonsense zip boots and my trusty Pashli bag.

today i love… the monday wish list

Today's Monday wish list is the best of the sales. First up: a classic grey cardigan by & Other Stories, the home of the best knitwear on the high street. Timeless woollen pieces are ideal to snap in the sales, and much needed in this dreary weather.

I've long been a fan of Aussie jewellery designer Ryan Storer's statement ear cuffs, but they're a little out of my budget. Net-a-porter's sale provides the perfect opportunity to invest in one, and I love this elegant rose gold piece.

3. Reiss Gerbera neoprene-panel shoes / £120 (were £150)
Two part shoes are the perfect transitional footwear for this time of year: for days when a boot isn't quite needed, but open toes are still far off. I love the neoprene panel on these.

4. Whistles Alexa V-neck dress / £48 (was £160)
The Whistles sale is always my first stop for classic workwear, and this dress would prove a versatile piece through winter and into summer.

I love Grown Alchemist's products, and happily Space NK have reduced a few of them. Oil-based serums are perfect for my parched winter skin and this one is too good a bargain to pass up.

French Connection does the best industrial-style homeware. I can't believe this beautiful lamp is in the sale. It's taking all my willpower not to order it right now.

this year i'm wearing...

A little look back at my outfits throughout the year (see last year's here). Thank you so much for following my blog in 2015. Sorry that I'm not as conscientious a blogger as I once was: life has got in the way a little. But I hope you'll continue reading in 2016. There may be more of a focus on beauty and interiors going forward but there'll still be fashion too. Thanks for every comment, like, email and page view. Wishing you a very happy and healthy 2016!
