Zara embroidered slippers /
After lusting after them since last week, it turns out I couldn't resist these embroidered velvet beauties (I bought them in store as they're still not online). I'm not a big fan of flats, but there's nothing I hate more than women who commute in hideous shoes (i.e. trainers). Just because you can't walk in your heels doesn't mean you have to abandon all sense of style. These sensational slippers are both beautiful and practical: the holy grail of fashion, no? I for one love the idea of having flat shoes to change into which are every bit as fabulous as the heels you're exchanging them for.

Beautiful shoes! Are you scared that if it rains, they'll be ruined? That's the only thing stopping me buying velvet slippers!
